About this format
Cannabis seeds are sold as collectable souvenirs and for the preservation of genetics. Dr Underground - Black Jesus OG: An Almost-Pure Indica With Big Kush Aromas
Black Jesus OG is a mostly Indica hybrid bred by Dr Underground Seeds. A cross between a unique Tahoe OG phenotype with beautiful dark purple/black hues and Dr Underground's Soul Star, Black Jesus OG is a short, stocky, bushy indica that'll reward you with thick, hard, resinous flowers after just 8 weeks of flowering.
Thin Mint Cookies meets that same Tahoe OG parent in Dark Cookie, a dessert-leaning indica.
Given its strong indica dominance, Black Jesus OG grows into small, stocky plants with thick, dark green foliage. These robust plants are perfectly suited to indoor tents or rooms, although they perform just as well outdoors under the sun. Like any good indica, Black Jesus OG benefits from regular pruning and defoliation to help maximize light penetration to its lower branches. Training techniques such as LST and topping also favor this strain, helping it develop more colas and further opening up its thick canopy to receive more light. Black Jesus OG also flourishes in nutrient-rich super soils and in cool, dry growing conditions. Drop the temperatures in your grow room/tent during the final weeks of its flowering cycle, and watch Black Jesus OG develop beautiful dark hues. Its flowering cycle lasts roughly 8 weeks, at which point you can expect to harvest yields of up to 600g/m² indoors and over 1kg per plant outdoors (depending on the size of your plants, of course).
Towards its final days of flowering, Black Jesus OG will be packed with heavy flowers made up of bulging calyxes and coated in a thick, sticky resin, typical of a quality indica strain. After drying and curing, Black Jesus OG buds should take on a potent aroma combining notes of spicy hybrid Kush with citrus undertones, giving the strain an aroma somewhat reminiscent of shampoo or detergent. Its effects are very potent; a few tokes of Black Jesus OG should leave you with a growing physical stone and a creative, philosophical cerebral high that's great for sparking interesting conversations or embarking on your favorite creative endeavour. As its effects progress, expect to feel a deeper physical stone and a chill vibe. Regardless of your skills as a grower or whether you grow indoors or outside, Black Jesus OG is bound to make an excellent addition to your cannabis garden, rewarding you with heavy yields of amazing bud with minimal effort.
