Cut Glass That Catches the Light
Turn the Fujima Exquisite Faceted Glass Ashtray under a lamp and its angled facets scatter light like a paperweight; it is the sort of piece you clock on a table long before anyone taps ash into it. The cutting runs all the way round, so it throws a different glint from every angle. It measures five inches (12.7cm) across, with notches shaped into the rim to park a roll-up between pulls, and it sits among our ashtrays as one of the more decorative picks.
One honest note: those cut faces show every fingerprint, so they want an occasional buff to keep the sparkle, and being sizeable it is a home piece rather than a pocket one. If a plainer, colour-finish look appeals more, the Zamnesia Glass Ashtray is the same size without the facets.
