Glasswork That Makes Every Piece One of a Kind
This spoon-style hand pipe is built from borosilicate glass, tougher and more heat-resistant than standard glass, so it holds up to regular use without clouding or weakening over time. The colour work comes from latticino, a hand-blown technique that layers coloured glass rods into swirling patterns. Since each pipe is shaped by hand, the pattern and colour placement are never quite the same twice. Colours are assigned randomly, so treat this as a piece that picks you rather than the other way round.
At 10 cm, it's short enough to disappear into a jacket pocket or bag, making it an easy pick for a pipe you actually carry rather than one that stays on a shelf. The trade-off with any glass piece is fragility: a drop onto a hard floor can crack or chip it, so it's worth handling with the same care you'd give a favourite glass. Compared to a silicone pocket pipe, you lose some drop-resistance but gain a cleaner draw and a piece that looks handcrafted rather than moulded.
