About this format
Cannabis seeds are sold as collectable souvenirs and for the preservation of genetics. Pure Instinto - Melon Gum: A Sugary-Sweet Fruit Treat
The goal behind crossing Bubblegum and Lavender was simple—to create a hybrid with better yields and a faster flowering time. But Melon Gum offers so much more than that. During her express bloom time, this stocky indica-dominant queen produces tight clusters of buds featuring eye-catching green, orange, yellow, and pink hues. As if that weren't enough, her thick flowers fill the room with notes of sweet melon, sugary candy, and tropical bubblegum from her earliest days in bloom.
A few short weeks after sprouting Melon Gum seeds, you'll be growing bright green plants with tightly spaced nodes, a strong central stem, and a few sturdy side branches. Though she's indica dominant, Melon Gum's sativa side shines through in her elevated height and large fan leaves with long leaflets. As she prepares to flower, Melon Gum also stretches considerably—an important consideration for indoor growers. Moreover, this strain is somewhat susceptible to mould and diseases, so she is best cultivated by experienced growers in tightly controlled conditions. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors, do so in Mediterranean climates and shelter your plants from the rain during their final weeks in bloom. Given the right care, this candy-sweet cultivar can produce excellent yields of up to 450g/m² indoors and 850g/plant outside.
Well-grown and cured Melon Gum buds look, smell, and taste amazing. Tight and round with bright green and orange hues plus a sugary coat of trichomes, this strain has plenty of bag appeal. Once you break apart her dense nuggets, your senses will rejoice under the spell of her sweet aroma of ripe honeydew and cantaloupe with floral undertones and notes of fruity bubblegum. Rich in terpenes like terpinolene, Melon Gum boasts the same fruity, floral flavour whether smoked or vaporized. Plus, packing 18–21% THC, Melon Gum has plenty of potency yet is still accessible to novice smokers. Inhale her full-bodied, fruity smoke/vapor and this hybrid will ease your mind with a gentle euphoria while simultaneously soothing the body. At the other end of the scale sits Gorilla Cookies, a dense indica with pungent pine and hash and a far heavier body effect.
