Sweet Seeds - Cream Mandarine XL Auto: The Super Tai `98 upgrade
Sweet Seeds created Cream Mandarine XL Auto by crossing Cream Mandarine Auto with a Super Tai `98 elite clone. This breeding step improved the overall size of phenotypes, increased yields significantly, and generally enriched the genetic makeup of Cream Mandarine Auto with potent Sativa genetics. The Indica genetics associated with the high resin production remain untouched.
Cream Mandarine XL Auto is capable of yielding up to 450-650g/m², in a life cycle of 9 weeks. When assuming ideal conditions, this would be an increase of 100g/m², in comparison to the non-XL version. These high yields are produced by plants that grow into a tall structure, with typical heights of 110-150cm. The XL-version doesn’t necessarily take longer to reach harvest. It still remains a strain that can be harvested only 9 weeks from germination.
The flavours and effects were also refined, and profit greatly from Sweet Seeds Super Tai upgrade. The elite clone of Super Tai `98 contributes by adding smooth aromas, spicy tones, and hints of wood and nuts. This is a great match for the sweet and fresh mandarine-like citrus aromas of Cream Mandarine. A stronger Sativa influence can also be expected within the effect.
This strain is a very good choice when autoflowering plants of larger sizes are desired. When comparing this strain to the non-XL version of Cream Mandarine Auto, growers will still get the potent genetics of Cream Mandarine Auto, but in a refined version, with greater efficiency and upgraded features. At the other end of the lineup sits Sweet Cheese, a feminized photoperiod built around savoury musk rather than citrus cream.
