About this format
Cannabis seeds are sold as collectable souvenirs and for the preservation of genetics. Feminized seeds grow into female plants, autoflowers switch to bloom on their own regardless of light schedule, and regular seeds produce both sexes for breeding. Germination is illegal in many countries — know your local law before you buy.

Velvet Mist (Paradise Seeds): Purple, Potent, and Built to Impress
Velvet Mist is a feminized indica-dominant strain from Paradise Seeds, bred by crossing Purple Kush with Wedding Cake. The two parents pull in opposite directions in the best possible way. Purple Kush anchors the cross with its characteristic sedative weight and dense, resinous structure. Wedding Cake pushes the THC range up to 22-26% and layers in a sweetness that softens the Kush's earthier edges. The result is a 75% indica / 25% sativa hybrid that leans hard into evening territory without feeling one-dimensional.
A Rewarding Grow for Growers Who Pay Attention
Indoors, Velvet Mist stays compact, topping out well under 100cm, which means it fits a standard tent without any aggressive canopy management. That said, it rewards the growers who do put in the work. Lollipopping the lower growth and keeping airflow moving through the canopy helps the plant focus its energy on the upper colas and reduces the risk of moisture build-up in the dense bud sites. Flowering wraps up in 8-10 weeks, a pace that suits tight indoor cycles and lets you plan harvests without a long wait. Yields reach up to 500g/m² indoors. Outdoors, the plant scales up considerably, with harvests reaching 800-1000g per plant in a good season. One thing to watch: two distinct phenotypes appear in this cross, and one of them throws noticeably more vivid purple colouration than the other. If the visual spectacle is part of the appeal, it is worth growing a few seeds to find that pheno. Difficulty sits at a moderate level, so some prior experience will help you get the most from it.
Earthy, Sweet, and Slow to Let Go
The aroma opens with earthy, nutty depth driven by caryophyllene and myrcene, then limonene lifts a fruity brightness underneath. On the palate, creamy vanilla and berry notes come through clearly, with the nutty, earthy base keeping things grounded rather than candy-sweet. The effect follows the indica majority: it builds gradually into a full-body calm that is relaxing without being abrupt. This is a strain best approached in the evening, when there is nowhere to be and nothing pressing. Compared to a more balanced hybrid, the body-weight here is pronounced and sustained, so first-timers with the THC range should start slow. Need something for the other end of the day? Zesty Bliss stays citrus-driven and clear-headed where this one settles you into the sofa.
