Bona Dea was a divinity in ancient Roman religion, and suspected to be the wife, sister or daughter of Faunus, god of the forest, plains and fields. Bona Dea was associated with chastity, fertility, healing and protection, thus an equivalent to the nature goddess Fauna. Vision Seeds named one of their indica-dominant medical strains after Bona Dea, and fused the genetics of Northern Lights, Black Domina and Afghani into one high CBD strain.
Bona Dea is quite resilient to pests and disease, stays relatively compact, usually below 80cm, and consists of 85% Indica genetics.
