Medical 49 was created by crossing genetics of Russian Snow, Skunk No.1, and AK-49 (AK-47). Russian Snow consists of genetics from White Widow and AK-47. Crossbreeding indica-dominant Russian Snow with AK-49 increased the influence of AK-47 even more. This might be relevant for medicinal users, since genetics of AK-47 are often used by people suffering from chronic pain, nausea, arthritis, PMS, depression, insomnia, or anxiety.
Medical 49 remains indica-dominant, with 70%, despite the strong influence coming from the genetics of AK-47. Growers won’t have to fear much stretching, and can expect plants that grow into a compact Indica structure, with overall plant heights of about 70-80cm. Medical 49 is not particularly a high-yielding strain, with indoor yields of 300g/m² ready for harvest after a short flowering period of approximately 60 days.
