Zamnesia - Geranium Essential Oil: Floral, Herbaceous, and Citric All at Once
Geranium is loved across the world for its rich aroma, which combines a floral, rose-like smell with a herbaceous backdrop and hints of lemons, oranges, and citronella. A trained nose may also pick up on notes of apples, camphor, mint, sage, and more. This high-quality geranium essential oil has been perfectly distilled to preserve all of these aromatic notes.
Geraniums get their name from the ancient Greek word for crane (géranos), due to the resemblance of some geranium flowers to the head and bill of a crane. The first geranium flowers were discovered in South Africa in the 17th century and quickly gained popularity in England and Europe. By the end of the 18th century, they'd been shipped to the Americas, and today geraniums can be found growing in many regions of the world. The plants grow effortlessly in temperate climates, though the widest variety of geraniums are found in the Mediterranean.
Geraniums are regularly cultivated all over the globe both for horticultural and pharmaceutical purposes. In aromatherapy, geranium oil is very popular and thought to produce a soothing aroma. This high-quality essential oil has been specially formulated for aromatherapy and produces a long-lasting, vibrant fragrance.
How to Use Geranium Essential Oil
Zamnesia's geranium essential oil is manufactured using only the most fragrant geranium flowers and a careful distillation process. The resulting oil is 100% pure and super fragrant. Just add 3–5 drops of oil to your oil burner or diffuser and enjoy as your room fills with the sweet, floral aroma of geranium in minutes. Alternatively, add the same amount to a spray bottle filled with water to mist and perfume a space or fabrics. Zamnesia's Mint Essential Oil brings a sharp, cool leaf note to the same dropper-bottle format.
