Zamnesia - Jasmine Essential Oil: Transform Any Space in Seconds
Jasmine plants are grown all over the world thanks to their delicious aroma. Now, you don't need to grow and care for jasmines at home—with this pure essential oil from Zamnesia, enjoy this plant's rich scent all year round by splashing just a few drops inside a diffuser or oil burner.
The Jasminun genus comprises roughly 200 species of plants that are all closely related to the olive family (Oleaceae). Native to tropical and warm regions, the largest variety of jasmines can be found throughout South and Southeast Asia. Today, however, jasmines are cultivated all over the globe and are central to many different cultures.
In Hawaii, for example, jasmines are often used in leis—a gift offered in peace or as a sign of love, friendship, or honour. In Hawaii, leis are often gifted to visitors such as foreign dignitaries or tourists, but also among locals at graduations, weddings, dances, or other celebrations. Jasmine leis are also commonly used in the Philippines and throughout the Pacific. In Thailand, jasmine represents motherhood, and it is also the national flower of Pakistan, Tunisia, and Indonesia, where it is commonly used in wedding ceremonies. Jasmine has also been used extensively throughout the perfume industry and is a main ingredient of Chanel No. 5.
